This song was released about two months ago by Jordan Bratton. Can I be Frank? Being an artist in New York it's very hard to get me to fall in love with music, my ears have grown numb to the thousands of talented artist on the scene because it seems like I am just another one stuck in the rat race. But, this song had me hooked instantly. The sweet melodic piano sent me soaring back to scenes of my childhood. Jordan's lead vocal acting as a captain navigating the soft nostalgic soundscapes of better days. In three minutes and 18 seconds, this song made me forget about all my struggles, worries, and fears and had me lost in the ocean of the subtle drums and warm vocal melodies. But don't take my word for it, hear it for yourself.
When I think of Jagged Edge I think of my 8th-grade middle school dance where I awkwardly danced to a Let's Get Married remix featuring Run DMC. Fast forward 10 years and the NYC-based duo Jazze Belle give Jagged Edge a new meaning. I've had the chance to hang out with both Jett and Taylor and they are two artists that are always on their grind. I've always admired their hustle and it's been great being able to meet young hard working artists before they blow up. Their fierce determination permeates the surface of the duo's debut single.
